Interview

After spending the last year dropping tracks on Desert Hearts, Bottom Feeder Records, and Hood Politics, not to mention an unforgettable West Coast tour alongside fellow PNW DJs Chick Iverson and Emuh, Zof carved out a compelling, emotive sound in tech house. Equally technical and expressive, Zoe brings an uplifting idealism to her take on peak hours 4/4 dance music without compromising intensity or groove for even a moment. With a fresh home studio in the Seattle area, you already know to expect plenty more dates and tempting tech house releases!‍

What have you been up to lately?

‍I just moved back to Seattle and got my studio set up so I plan to be spending a lot of time there. The past few weeks I've gotten to spend a lot of time with old friends and family who were in town for the holidays.

‍How and where did you record your mix?

‍I used Ableton 10 in my new studio space πŸ™ƒ

Tell us a bit about your mix!

‍I put together a bunch of tracks I've been feeling and playing out recently, including a couple originals. Peak hours tech house with a little variety here and there.

‍What are you up to next?

‍I'll be playing a show at the Timbre Room in Seattle on the 25th and then I have a trip to southern California in the works for February!

‍What are you up to when you're not DJing and producing?

‍I pet a lot of dogs and play a lot of overwatch, I also play the piano.
