Interview
PDX-based DJ, hailing from the FL swamps, Morgan Haigh [Debris and Body Wash] is both dirty and clean. You can expect trips to the dump to drop off deconstructed club and leftfield anything nasty or a relaxing ethereal ambiance at the onsen after a 12-hour acid trip <3
Here are the thoughts Morgan has chosen to share to accompany her mix:
My mentor says that he likes to offer prompts to people in circles so that they have a chance to reject it and say what needs to be said. Therefore, I find myself wanting to share something different than my story because like every one around me I sense this urgency in the air. It’s different out there now, we’re different, I feel it and like every one around me, I want to help. So, you want to talk about what I learned from having stage 3 cancer? I learned that love is the best medicine and it saved my fucking life. I’m sorry because I know it’s so simple that it’s stupid, but it’s love. It’s not a love and light thing, it’s a holding reverance for the goodness and well-being of all life kind of love. It is a love so deep that there’s grief. Please, if you do anything, keep it alive in your heart, it is a radical act. The powers that be don’t have shit on love that’s why they lose their minds when we come together in a good way like our ancestors did. Do all the other radical shit that you feel inspired to do too because when you do anything with love the world walks with you.
