Sengiley Recordings Celebrates One Year with First Vinyl Release

Feu du Camp

December 10, 2020

B-Side Stamp from SNGWAX001

Featuring a heavy hitting crew of upcoming European producers, Russian Sengiley Recordings announces pre-orders for their first vinyl release, SNGWAX001. Breaking onto the scene in early 2020 with digital releases from BRTS, Florian, and more, SNGWAX001 is a fitting milestone for Sengiley.

With previous releases highlighting producers with a deep sense of groove from around the world, it’s no surprise SNGWAX001 brings such a well curated sound to the label’s discography. The A-Side hosts Nomada Records co-founder Joint4Nine serving uplifting soul-funk with a mindfulness, before Soul Bridges gives Gil Scott-Heron’s The Revolution Will Not Be Televised the old dusty house treatment. On side B, Last Nubian takes a road trip along the sea side, riding along his particular blend of lush and sun-warped beats. Then Donnie Moustaki lights up a long-burning smoke out with his jazzy, bent and broken take on house grooves. Sofa Talk and XL Regular speed up and chop Donnie’s contribution for a wonky garage-like cruise across a cosmic dance hall to wrap up the record.

Pressed on black and green vinyl, SNGWAX001 is available for pre-order, and will be officially released February 25, 2021. Clips of each track can also be heard via the pre-order links on deejay. Check below for the track list and links to the artist’s pages.
