Seattle-based Hünter ushers his sophomore album release into existence via Of Paradise, further enchanting their catalogue of left field treasures.
Of Paradise and Hünter have offered the album’s 4th track for a Peace Portal premiere. Latin for “tear”, Lacrima is arrestingly beautiful. A choir of digital ophanim accompany an encoded orchestra, heralding a cathartic release midway through the record. Amidst the ordered chaos of broken-down rhythmic frameworks, Lacrima offers a cryptic respite. Like vines of code embracing reprogramming.
Looking at the full body of work, Mica is Hünter’s reflection on the interconnection between the virtual and the natural, exploring what is left after every piece of content has been mined from the world, and the individualism of its inhabitants.
