The prolific Meowsn' and the up-and-comer WHATEVER have joined forces as MEOWHAT yet again in St. Petersburg for the Genji EP; a loose and groovy 4-track drum machine work out of rough, raw, filtered house killer disco fury tracks on their own imprint, Slutty Prty.
It's hard to know what to expect from Slutty Prty, and this release is no different with the likes of MEOWHAT pushing the boundaries of modern house music. Each beat throughout the EP drunkenly stumbles with intoxicated confidence through disco, house, world, and fusion elements, melting down into a lugubrious amalgamation of dance music.
To help get the record out into the world, the Slutty Prty crew will host a raffle, giving away a vinyl copy of the Genji EP live from St. Petersburg's Kultura Record Store via the store's Instagram page. Entries will be accepted online from September 28th to October 5th, the EP's official release date.
